Through Christ & community, 10:12 Sports is a ministry using athletics to provide discipleship and job training opportunities to youth. 10:12 empowers our community church partners and leaders to mentor youth through Christ, developing servant leaders and successful decision-makers who commit to healthy lifestyles. Position Summary

This position is for a mission-focused, process-minded, and relationship-oriented leader with a gift for creating, evaluating, and improving programmatic design & execution. The Program Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of impactful opportunities to our participants. You will make a positive difference in the lives of youth in West Baltimore by contributing to the growth and thriving of our organization.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Programs Administration (50%)

  • Collaborate with the Program team to design and develop sports programs that meet the needs and interests of the youth in our community

  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and impact, collecting feedback from participants, parents, and staff to inform continuous improvement efforts

  • Assist in the development and management of program budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and effectively to maximize program outcomes

Staff Supervision & Community Outreach (30%)

  • Guides Sports Ministry Coordinator, Job Training Coordinator, and Mentors Coordinator to provide direction and accountability in their respective projects

  • Cultivate positive relationships with community partners, schools, and other stakeholders to enhance program visibility, participation, and support

Additional Responsibilities (20%)

  • Contributes to the Board meeting to report on staff and ministry-related issues

  • Represents 10:12’s values and ideals at community events, meetings, and gatherings

  • Participates in ministry partnership development through a proactive search for financial/resource donations and prayer support

Experience & Skills

  • Experience in program management, preferably in a youth development setting (2+ years)

  • Experience learning and working in different cultural settings

  • Experience working in entrepreneurial environments

  • High School Diploma Required (College Degree Preferred)

  • Ability to create and maintain organizational programs effectively

  • Leadership & Communication in a small team setting (3 to 5 members)

  • Technical familiarity with Google Suite & Asana

Schedule and Compensation

This position will require approximately 40 hours per week, with potential work days on Saturdays during the sports season (May to November). Work hours allow flexibility. Compensation is determined by the candidate’s experience and comparative analysis of other equivalent positions.
